The title explains it all, 2 of my 6 remaining eggs are pipped and I can hear them scratching inside and peeping. I'm so excited!

Edit: I moved them into the house under a lamp, will it effect them the heat difference from the chicken to the light?

I'm not sure that's going to work out for you. It's not easy to control temp in an open place under a heat lamp, and they probably won't have enough humidity. If the humidity isn't high enough, the ducklings likely won't be able to hatch.

^ THIS. Put them back in the incubator or under whatever duck you got them from immediately, if it's not already too late!

They are back under the hen

Good choice. If you took them because you want to hand-raise them, you can always take them back a bit after they hatch and put them in your brooder. We brood ours indoors, but we also hatch with incubators. Doesn't really make much difference how you hatch them though.

I just wanted to watch them hatch, this is my first time and I thought it would be interesting.

Hmm. Well, too late for this batch, but you might want to consider getting an incubator for next time. We incubate all of ours so we can hand-raise them to make them tame from the beginning.

I wasn't putting you down, btw. I got the impression you just genuinely didn't know that what you were doing wasn't going to work out well. I'm really glad you asked the question.

One just hatched 10 minutes ago. It can't really walk is that normal?
It takes a while for them to get their legs under them after hatching, hatching is a hard job, so just leave them alone let mama care for them probably in a few days they will be running all over.

. I have it inside right now in a box, (with a light over it and food and water) I was gonna put them back with the chicken after it dried up. Also does it imprint on you the second it hatches.
