My flock of Holderread Dutch hook bills are crazy laying ducks. Fertility visible on yolks so here's a chance to get a nice duck breed for your flock. Hook bills are calm, very laid back and are great foragers. They lay blue tinted eggs and lots of them. Mine run with my chickens and lay their eggs inside the coop. They are allowed to free range and put themselves to bed (back to the coop) every night and are guarded by a k-9. They are not aggressive with the chickens and are very cold hardy.

Here's a photo of the girls out looking for bugs:

Auction is for one dozen + eggs.

I'd bid on these to expand my Hookbill Flock (I only have one pair right now), but I'm waiting on my own order of Holderread Hookbills in April!

If I end up with all drakes, we'll have to talk!

EDITED to add: For anyone considering bidding on these - Hookbills really are crazy-laying ducks! My Hookbill girl is out-laying my Campbells right now - she started laying on February 26th and hasn't missed a single day since!

I wanted to get some from Holderread, but I've not put in an order. I really would like to work with the Hook Bills.
Thinking about incubator space.
