Hi everyone, I am incubating five duck eggs that were laid on July 13th, 2021 and today is August 13th. A few look like they are trying to internally pip, but I'm not sure what I am looking for with the others. This is my first hatch ever, so I'm definitely a novice at this. There is movement from all of them inside the eggs (a few look feisty!) but none of them seem to be in a hurry to hatch and I'm starting to get anxious about it.
The first incubator they were in (a Jumbl incubator) died due to a power outage on August 5th, but we were able to keep them warm overnight with a makeshift incubator setup. All were moving and active the next day and have been since, and have been in a higher quality incubator (Farm Innovators Pro Series Circulated Air). I stopped turning them on day 25 and their humidity has stayed between 70 and 75.
Any advice on when I should step in and help out? I played some baby chick sounds with my phone the other day and one little guy seemed to get a bit more active, but none have externally pipped yet.
