Ok I just put in 17 duck eggs in my incubator yesterday afternoon. I cant wait and so excited to do this..

This is my first time doing this so I hope they do good...

I just ordered 4 from a BYC member it will be my first time too so exited!! What type of duck??

Mallard ducks. This is my first time with ducks so I hope they all come out fine. My aunt called me yesterday and told me that the mom that was laying these eggs was found dead yesterday that a snapping turtle got her and she was dead laying by her nest. I told her to go get the eggs and I will incubate them for her. I have 17 in the my incubator so we will see if any are good.

I hate to hear about the poor duck, I'm hatching ancona ducks, so exited for them!!

I have mine on an automatic egg turner and this is my first time also I know it takes 28 days for them to hatch at 99.5 in the incubator. I have it at 50% humidity. I have to take mine off the turner at day 25 and lay them on the screen on the bottom. I love my incubator it is still air so no fan. It has been awesome so far with everything I have done in it so hopefully I have everything good I hope...

I'll be following this thread. I hope to hatch 12 duck eggs April or May.

I hope I am doing everything right this is my first time.
