This is my first time incubating eggs. I have eggs from my own ducks. They are developing just fine, but then they don't hatch. I had one egg that was still alive and moving on day 30, but never did hatch and finally died on day 32. I have more that were supposed to hatch yesterday, but still haven't.

I have a Little Giant incubator with the automatic turner. I remove the eggs from the turner on day 26. I candle the eggs and they develop just fine all the way up to hatch date, then die. Anyone else having issues with this? I keep it humid, I have followed incubating instructions to the t, but still no ducklings.

how humid is "I keep it humid"?
what were the temps and humidity during incubation?
did you crack open any of the eggs and inspect the ducklings?

It's possible (since they are dieing just before hatch) that your humidity MAY be too high during incubation.. but without knowing for sure what you were running for temps and humidity it's just a guess

I find that duck eggs hatch better when I monitor their weight and adjust humidity as needed based on the egg's weight loss
