This is our first time hatching eggs. We have six indian runner duck eggs, who are 6 days overdue (hatch day was supposed to be the 16th, it is now the 21st). Yesterday one pipped but didn't unzip, however this morning it is still peeping quietly in its egg! Another we can also hear peeping but hasn't even pipped. This seems like an unbelievably long time overdue, and for the little guys to still be alive? We did a water test for the other four and at least one seemed to be wiggling around. The other three we are unsure of. We are starting to wonder if one of the parents is a Muscovy, if that is even possible (there were both runners and Muscovys at the farm where we got them). Should we take some kind of action, or just be patient? Any information would be greatly appreciated, as we feel so helpless and nervous!!
