duck eggs

Hey everyone! hey i was wondering: i have two ducks, a pekings and a khaki runner. they live with our chickens and some eggs have started to appear in our coop.

i can't tell the difference though and i'd like to. can anyone help me?

Hello..your duck eggs will have a sort of light greyish color to it and if you crack a duck egg, the shell is MUCH harder to break and the egg whites are REALLY thick! Duck eggs are great for baking! They make everything SO moist!!! My ducks just lay eggs right on the ground too.

And for some reason, they're usually dirtier than my chicken eggs.
