duck eggs

hi BYC where I am it is spring time and I am getting duck eggs but I don't know if they are fertile how can I tell if they are fertile with out cracking them

P.S I do have drakes

You either have to crack them open or incubate them

one other thing how do I tell what breed the egg is from I have Indian runners pekins and Muscovy but the Muscovy take longer to hatch can I incubate then together

the muscovy egg should be more cream colored while the mallard derived breed eggs are anywhere from white to green/blue

ok are the Muscovy eggs bigger then the runners or pekins

no not necessarily. Its a case of sometimes yes and sometimes no

all of my hens are last years hatch

ok that doesn't really have anything to do with the eggs being from which mom. But glad to hear that they have a good home
