Not a duck, buy have seen this in ducklings: Did my first peachick necropsy on a ten day old chick. Chick hatched with a larger than normal belly and it never got smaller:
the yolk is still there even though it should have been absorbed by this age. Still have lots more pictures to share, along with what I researched. Times like this I wish I had sent it off for necropsy.
Since doing this, I learned that birds have a Meckel's diverticulum, which looks like this:

Any pics, duck, 6 day quitter? And what would/could cause it? My sense says bacteria... Maybe. Wasn't the only one that quit on same day. No odor and no discoloration. What would a bacterial quit look like?
