Hello! I have posted with quite a few problems recently because apparently I am destined to make every mistake possible, so I present yet another. I have some duck eggs I have had to hand turn. I thought I was doing well, but when I candle the dark part with the yolk is stuck to one side and does not move much, if at all, when I rotate them. They are on day 6. I have started rotating at specific times now (5 times a day), but is there anything I can do to get them unstuck? Thank you.

If the embryo is stuck, it's more than likely going to stay stuck and die. It's only a matter of time.

In my experience, duck eggs are more on the delicate side. You want to rotate them 6+ times a day until day 25-26.

It's really in your best interest to buy an incubator with a turning rack. I'm not sure what your budget is, or how much you want to spend, but GQF has styrofoam incubators with turning racks (both bought separately).

The reason why I say that is that so the embryo is constantly moving every hour or two and also just to save some labor. Is it worth looking into? If you need help or have any questions, feel free to message me at any time.

Thanks so much! I do have an incubator with a turning rack but it's full of chicken eggs. I'll just have to wait and see.
