Duck emergency

:goodpost: just add fish, horses, rats, ferrets and bunnies to that list! I've had them all digest either chocolate, floor cleaner (they licked the mopped floor, not drank a lot of it!) or toys... Animals get into everything just because that's what they would do in the wild! I've never had a problem with it (luckily) but I've been scared to death every time!
Actually, the ferret was an issue one time. I think he ate a piece of masking tape off the floor of the new house. It was rough, he wasn't doing great. Vet put him on supportive care and sent hime home. His personalized supportive care was pain killers (he looked like he was 2 seconds away from death), laxatives and anti-biotics. It worked miracles and he came back from that as the most loving boy. He bit a tiny bit before (I got him at 7 weeks old, very young for ferret) not out of hate, just out of play. Now after he had been so sick, he's so happy and he loves people more than anything. I held him until he was better which took about 48 hours until I was ready to leave him. He never bites now. Sometime's it turns out alright!

Also I was giving the chickens some yogurt and I think one of them ate a small piece of the tin foil lid. It has been three days and no strange behaviors so should I put olive oil in there food to or what.

I know all this makes me sound like a terrible bird mother but I try my best.

My other broody would freak out when she was molting so I was just wondering if it was what all chickens do. Her crop gets big at night and is flat in the morning and she has healthy looking poo. Thank you
