Just found one of my hens like this. Any suggestions on how to help or should I just put her down? She laid fine this morning.

I found help on Facebook in a duck group. But for others in the future- she prolapsed. I went to get Epsom salt to soak her in and when I came back she had laid a second egg of the day. First egg was fine second was waterballoon consistency. The swelling went down significantly after that.
after her soak I sprayed her with vetricyn and applied coconut oil and sugar to help with swelling, and gently pushed everything back in.
she stayed inside last night in a dim roomto discourage laying today. So far she has not prolapsed again.

I'm so glad to hear you found help and that she's doing better. Please do keep us posted on her condition. I have had prolapses in hens but not a duck before...poor baby.
