I'm about to set up my large duck enclosure. Right now I just have a short (like 2 feet tall) chicken wire pen attached to a dog house. I close up the dog house at night.

I'm going to use welded wire fencing for the new pen, but should I use 48 inches tall, or is 36 good enough? I still plan on closing the dog house at night. (It's pretty big.)
All I have right now is a runner duck and a call duck. I may end up with another pair of runner ducks, but I don't know for sure yet.
The pen it's self will be large enough to enclose the dog house, and a small wading pool.
Thanks!

I think the 3' should be sufficient. My ducks fly, but never try to fly in the night-cage which is a dog kennel. They just waddle in to sleep and feel protected. You will be fine with either but getting into the 4' may be easier when cleaning.
