Duck eye issue (not sure what to think)

Eddie, my Appleyard duck seems to be having issues with one of his eyes. I noticed he's been keeping it closed more often. He does open it but even when he's running around sometimes he will keep it closed!

I can't see anything visibly wrong with the eye. I took a closer look today and a few small watery, tears came out. They were not gooey or anything. No crust around the eye or redness. They have three pools deep enough to dunk in and dust free bedding. I've given him vetericyn eye drops. Should I take him to the vet or am I just being nuts?

Keep watching him . . . the Vetericyn is a good idea. Is there something really dusty going on sometimes?

Seems something may be mildly irritating it. Could be a tiny bit of sawdust under the lid, or something.

A vet may need to help if that's the case.
