Duck feathers all over the yard?

I have a magpie duck that's about 10 weeks old. She looks like she has all her adult feathers to me. The last few days I've noticed quite a bit of black and white feathers laying all over the yard. Is this normal or is something wrong? Her buddy, a runner mix isn't losing feathers. I haven't found any spots on the magpie where feathers seem to be missing....

Well, that is a conundrum! No body missing feathers in the barnyard but you have a bunch laying around... Are the feathers full sized or small. Are they soft or hard?

10 weeks is about right to lose the baby feathers. My runners only looked fuzzy in the tummy for a couple days. Otherwise they didn't look ratty like a chicken does in molt.
