Duck feed

Hi i was giving my ducks (a pekin and a silver appleyard) too much treat (mealworm fish Lettuce) now they won't eat pellets and cracked corn.. it's been a week now and they are quaking almost all the time asking for fish and looks a little bit thin... im trying tough love but it's not working.

What type of Duck feed?
You can add a bit of their treat to the feed..Wet the feed?..Are they trying the feed at all?...

Some local duck feed (i dont live in the us) and cracked corn ,the drake is trying the food but the hen not so much..

I'm not in the U.S. Either....Canada actually........Kidding....lol...Stop the cracked corn and get Chicken scratch and mix in the Duck feed about 25%

Stop giving them treats, including the corn and only give them feed. A healthy bird will not starve itself.

Hmmm...Ducks are a bit tricky and will hold off...They are easily spoiled....

They will eventually eat though, when they get hungry enough.

Adding a treat or favourite food to the feed works with Ducks...They will go days if they do not like the feed or not used to it...I take in rescue Ducks that have never seen feed so it's a juggling act to get them going again....
