Since I had to go back to work my ducks spend more time in their run, they still get some time to forage but not like in the summer when I am home to allow them almost unlimited forage time. So as they spend more time in their pen and as the days get colder I am worried my ducks won't be able to forage as much.
Is there something, besides their food- to which I add brewers yeast, I can provide them? Should I spread around mealworms so they can "forage" for those in their pen during the day. They do get peas everyday as a treat, but just want to make sure they are getting what they need.
