The guy who owns our local nursery is having his own chicken feed made. He says it is a mix of different kinds of pellets. I'm wondering if you guys think this food would be appropriate for adult ducks. I'd really like to get away from feeding Purina products if possible.

LBN Layer Chicken Feed 50lb
This mix is not organic, but it is the best natural feed that we have put together to date. We have a local mill blend this mash/dry mix for our flock. Contains Soy Meal, Distillers Grain, Rice Meal, Alfalfa Meal, Soy Hull, and shell meal.
17% protien, 3.6 fat, 24.2 fiber, 4% calcium

Here's a bonus shot of my flock having a great time in the kiddy pool:

I think if your birds like it and look happy, then feed what ever you think is best! I make my feed using ground corn, ground flax, and freshly pureed vegatables, and they love it!
