duck food???

hello, i got some baby ducks today, and i am feeding them medicated chic starter, because i also have new baby chics. the problem is i just read on here that medicated can kill a duck, so my question is why would it kill the duck and is it okay to feed them regular, non medicated chic starter??

Congrats on your duckies! (and chickies, too)

Ducklings need more niacin than chicks and medicated chick feed doesn't have that. They need gamebird or waterfowl starter.

Maybe you could post pics. Duckling pics are always welcome.

okay thank you, and i will try on the pics, i tried to put pics of my new chics on my avatar,and it was to big, even with my camera phone, if you have any suggestions on that, i could use help, thanks in advance.( im not that computer savvy)

one more question, would it be okay for the ducks to eat the medicated chic starter tonight, until i get to the feed store tomorrow, or should i take it out now??
