we found out his back was broken and there was nothing to do to help him so we ended up having to put the poor baby down

last night my duck don got attacked he seemed just in shock there was little to no blood so we put him in his house for the night. this morning we went to go check on him and he was on the ground with his neck kinked a weird way. the other duck made him stand up and he can barely walk. and he’s facing his head down straight to the ground and he has a bunch of blood on his left side like right by his heart. it almost seems like he was throwing up last night? but now i have him in the house in a box with towels trying to let him rest. does anyone have any advice?

I'm sorry this happened. I should've realized that he had the same symptoms as my brazil nut, who had broken ribs and back. I'm sorry for your loss and I'm glad you could properly put him down.
