Hey guys, we have a buff duck that recently has had what looks like boogers in her nose. First we thought it was tree sap but then it happened the next day. We have been plucking out the stuff from her nose with a tooth pick and sometimes it works but sometimes it hardens against her nostrils and we can't pluck it out.

So my question is- Are duck boogers possible? Is it a sign of a cold? How can we prevent it?
The buildup constricts her breathing, so we are pretty concerned.
Thank you all

Does she bathe regularly or at least have a deep bucket waterer? Ducks have to be able to clear out their nares and eyes by submerging their entire heads or their nares get clogged up like that...

Be careful with a toothpick, their nares are soft and sensitive... try a warm, wet cloth next time...

She has both. Plenty of water to dip her head in and a pool to swim in.
