Our injured chicken Lil Miss Sassafras got her freedom walk today! All the black dead skin fell off her pad. The black scab fell off her nose a few days ago. There is a tiny piece of pad that healed, but not to her foot. It looks like s 5mm node. She is gonna be just fine. She is SOOOOO HAPPY to be out of ICU. 😊 Now we have Sonia in isolation. I noticed she was limping yesterday and caught her today. We tried to get pus out because it felt squishy, but apparently it's not infection. I now think it is broken. 😟 Oh my goodness. I will probably give her a soak. I need to research some more. It hurts me when my babies hurt. 😪
Any thoughts?

Bumblefoot often appears without a external laceration (no core) on the plantar surfaces of the feet, to me, it looks like that is the case with your duck. I do seem some slight redness around the area as well.

How does the area feel? What have you done as far as treatment so far? Do you notice any blackening around the tip of her toe? Try gently bending the toe, does she react painfully? Does it feel like its in its proper place?

I will check. Getting feed now. It is firm with swelling on top too. In picture. I noticed yesterday that swelling is on edge where shin is too.
