These are the eggs in the bater!

I have a total of 9 ancona duck eggs in there right now they are on day 3 and I can't wait till day 7 so I can see something going on! I hope some more ppl will join my hatch along!

I will join you for a while anyways. I had 2 broody chickens so I put a couple of duck eggs underneath each They also had a bunch of chicken eggs that they were sitting on too.. The first chicken hatched out 8 baby chicks and decided she was done sitting on eggs so i put the duck eggs underneath the other broody hen. and this morning when I went out to check on them one had hatched. and another had pipped. She still has about 5 chicken eggs and the one pipped duck egg and 3 other duck eggs. I hope at least one more hatches so this one wont have to be added to the other 4 grown ducks of which are her parents.

Do you mind if someone joins in with chicken eggs? I should be picking up more eggs tomorrow so they will be pretty close to the hatch date of your ducks.

How exciting did u candle any of the older ones yet?

yeah.

The light isn't very strong,

so I can only see that the air cell and the embryo is growing in all of them(the dark part gets bigger.
