Yes i did read the post. And all of those chicks are very luck to be alive. Most chicks need the yolk sack fully absorbed before they're hatched, If the are ripped off this is taking away a very big amount of nutrition for the bird. In most cases the bird will ether bleed out or later die from slack of strength to move around. Eat/drink on its own, or even defend it's self from its stronger siblings.
Hmmm. They were the same size as their hatch mates, and it seemed like just as strong. I guess they were pretty lucky then.
