Duck having trouble swalloing

I have a five year old pekin she eats her pellets and corn for a minute or so then seems to start trying to keep swolowing. She dosent seem to have a cold or is not loosing weight. I have put some vinegar in their water a couple of times.

Is she eating a lot of corn? Do you feel any obstructions? Does she have free access to water and grit? How much vinegar are you putting in?

I feed mine their food as a mash unless it's really cold out and it freezes before they can finish. I find it mimics a more natural food since they are dabblers and eat right out of the water in the wild.

How much corn? This should only be given as a treat. I also get cracked corn for mine as it's easier to break down. Like AGeese said, grit is important when feeding anything but processed pellets as they can't chew their food and it serves as their teeth to grind it down.
