I have 4 indian runner eggs due to hatch very soon. Unfortunately due to unplanned health circumstances beyond my control, I can't keep them! (Believe me if I had expected this I NEVER would have tried hatching them!) Does anyone have any advice on what to do? I don't want to just give them off to be slaughtered or something, they're wonderful little duckies. I wish I could leave them with a ducksitter so we could visit them but I know that's unlikely. Any Help is GREATLY appreciated. We are in Hilton, NY (14468) for location purposes.

I think that she is saying that due to health she either has to leave or cant be around them, but doesnt want them thrown away or killed.

That's what I'm saying (sorry I word things badly.) Basically, I can't keep them where I'm at, because I won't be able to care for them. But I don't want to just toss them out, so I need to know if anyone knows where I could let them go so they wont' die.

Too bad you don't live closer...I'd take them and give them a GREAT home!!!

I am in PA, too far away I am sure, or I would take them in a heartbeat. I have 2 very spoiled runners now and want to get more in the spring or maybe they will take care of that for me.
