I have a duck that doesn’t look like it’s doing too good. When I first got the duck it stuck out bc it’s beak and feet were a white/ pink color (it’s a mallard). I thought it had a genetic thing where it made the coloration a little off but I just kept an eye on it. As it’s growing up it has started to increasigly have a hard time standing and walking, sometimes breathes really fast, and doesn’t have the energy to keep up with the other ducks and ends up sitting all by itself. Is there anything I can do to help this duck? I’ve been giving it some vitamins and probiotics but it still is having issues. Its now 2 weeks old if that means anything.

Hi, Welcome to BackYard Chickens!

Sorry, you are having problems with your duckling. Some more info about your setup and the duckling would be very helpful. What are you feeding, what's the temp in the brooder, what kind of bedding are you using, how often are you cleaning the bedding, have you fed her any treats recently, have you found mold in her pen or feed, how deep is the water dish, picture of the setup and a video of the duckling would be great.

Upload a video, by uploading it to youtube or Vimeo and then copy/paste the link here.

Maybe niacin deficiency? Check the feed. If it’s not specific towards ducklings, add some brewers yeast 💕
