Duck house ideas needed

DE really holds water and while I'm not an expert on ducks I've owned my share. I believe you'd end up with white mud that will never dry. The health effects on the ducks I believe could be a real issue although opinions vary. If anything I'd save the DE to dust the compost pile of the cleanings with.

Thank you everyone, So slowly working on moving the duck house, depending on how much space i have after i move the shed over, i might make some house modifications. But the floor i plan on doing the hardware wire as the bottom, covered by the pea gravel and topped with sand.

I would not use DE with Birds or Humans...Lung damage occurs..
