Duck house question

I have 8 ducks (5 are ducklings) will a 4x6 house be enough room for nighttime? They will free range during the day.

How big will they be full grown? You can house way more calls than pekins or muscovies in a house that size

2 Pekins, 1 mallard, 2 blue Swedish, 1 Golden later, and 1 Layer. I’m guessing a little smaller than Pekins, but close to their size.

I mean, it's kinda cramped. A general rule of thumb is 4 feet per bird I think. I know Swedish are a smaller one, but if possible, I would make the house a bit bigger just in case you have to keep them penned up for some reason

Personally i would do a 6x6 if you have space.

We keep six large breed ducks in a 4'x8' duckhouse, although they are rarely locked in.
