We had a bad rain storm the other night this guy he is about 3 months well he was laying in the mud near the coop area and had been there all night I assume he was barely functioning and breathing with mouth open. Brought him inside cleaned him up he wouldn’t stand so we did epsom salt baths, antibiotics, electrolytes, water and he started acting better after a couple days. Still won’t stand have been doing epsom salt compresses in his swollen hock. He’s been eating and drinking no quaking but today he started doing this weird neck holding thing and if he isn’t careful he falls over on his side. These are my first ducks I have researched and tried everything what is happening.

What all and how exactly have you been feeding since you got him?
Did you get him as a 'day old' duckling?

Yes a day old and been feeding chick stater and scratch and pumpkins cut in half so they get the goodness from the middle. We just started adding brewers yeast to feed. He was always fine

Also he has been inside since Monday just started the neck thing today.

They should have it, but some chicken feed has a portion in it. Just not enough... and he's been feeding him peas from the looks of that one picture, which has niacin in them as well.

I may have gotten lucky, or that might be why speedy has a slight quake sometimes when she's standing to long - i couldn't afford the niacin <brewer's yeast> right away and didnt get it for her and fancy until they were 3 months old...
