Duck in A Chlorine Pool?

I maintain over 200 thousand gallons of pool and spa water for work.
And I have a small duck pond at home.
I personally wouldn't let a duck use a swimming pool even one day.
My company uses top notch chemicals feeder to keep water balanced.
Back washing filters don't remove the duck poop and nasty stuff...
If your only letting the duck swim once in a while get a cheap kiddy pool.

I have let mine swim to no ill effects. If they do it too much, the chlorine will remove the oil on their feathers. A decent pool should hand!e 30 minutes of poo. Are you South African?

Considering the normal spots for ducks, which include rivers and lakes with industrial transports, a chlorine pool shouldn't harm them. As for the poo, maybe clear it with your friend or look into an enema and alter the feeding schedule for your duck on "visiting days" to get most of the poo out before the duck gets into the pool.
