how do you know if an 7 day old egg with embryo is attached to one side like when you dont turn it?
is it normal if the egg is on the X side and candled it and you see veins and the embryo but when you turn to the O side it doesnt move?

Yes as they develop they grow to take up more of the egg. After you turn the egg 180 when you next candle the embryo should be on that side.
