duck intoduction

I had 2 6 week old pekin ducks..Both drakes..Last night one of them died for reasons unknown. Can I introduce another 4 to 6 week old duck to the surviving one? Will they get along?

They should just watch closely for a while to make sure the original doesn't pick on the new comer I'd introduce 2 newbies though.



Very sorry for your loss. Was you duck sick might want to quarantine any new ones till you are sure what ever killed your duck isn't contagious.

The duck did not seem sick..The survivor does not show any signs of illness..

Go and get your ducks! Please post back and let us know what you got and how It went with intros.. Your survivor will probably be very lonely so should be happy to have some buds again.
