My duck (khaki) for the past 2 days has had her eyes shut for a long time, shes quacking, walking, drinking and eating fine and swimming like she always does but with her eyes closes. Her eyes do look smaller but i dont know whats wrong?

What would be nice is a picture of her eyes? is there crusty stuff around them? are they draining?
I cant get a picture of her as shes in her bed right now, she appeared to be a bit better and had them open more. And they did not seem to be crusty or draining, she just kept them shut whilst doing everything she usually does

If you can still get a picture up when she is out that would be helpful.
it is quite hard to get a close up one as she doesnt like being near us that much, but if i can get a better one i will show it. She keeps doing all the things she usually does with her eyes shut, she will open them sometimes but mostly has them shut, she has never been like this and i don't know if she is loosing her sight? There is no sign of them being infected

I think you should walk her inside her house and pick her up. She may not like it but you need to get a good look at what is going on. If I have to examine any of mine I walk them inside and once in there I can grab one if I need to. You can check her eyes close up for any sign of infection or injury. Do you have Terramycin eye ointment? if so put some around the inside of her eyes. If there is something in there maybe rinse with warm saline water to flush out the eyes. She may have something in there that's causing irritation.
She'll get over your catching her and treating her.
