I have buff ducks and some lay green eggs. I am unsure why but some of them lay a dirty white or cream color egg while others lay a green egg.
as a side note I have to say I was so taken back by the crazy chicken lady post, that is my nick name up here as my neighbors say I have far to many chickens, and my very favorite in white chochins. we had a white bantam cochen who I just loved he wanted to be held and was so nice but he got sick and died it was horrid. We burried him and bought a tree to put on his grave to remember him. anyway good to see there is another crazy chicken lady out there
