duck laying her eggs in another duck's nest?

I have the same problem! 2 ducks, 20 eggs in one nest. No broody duck yet. How did your situation turn out?
Thanks,
Carolyn

Also, my ducks have chosen a dog igloo to nest in. Can I encourage a second nest in the same roomy igloo so they both can lay and be near each other by dividing the eggs. They are very attached to each other.

Have you ever heard the expression "Don't put all your eggs in one basket"?

Ducks will do this as a natural way to continue their gene pool in the event that something happens to their own nest.
I have 4 female ducks, is it OK to leave eggs to try to get them to go broody at the same time? They're all laying in 3 or 4 nesting boxes
