So my 2 year old Drake has always had a limp off and on since he was born. But now he’s not doing so well. He recently had a prolapsed Penis which I proudly resolved, but he still has a bad leg. He seems to know not to come down the ramp of
His house with the other two girls and stays on his porch all day. His ankle area is swollen and hot to the touch. I started probiotics in his water and electrolytes. His appetite has decreased but he’s eating and drinking some. This has been going on now for almost a week. Does anyone have any ideas of what I can do?
Also no signs of Bumblefoot.

If it’s not something I can help him with, than Yes I will take him to the vet. My husband may have a fit about it, but I don’t want him in any pain. I will override my husbands decision if it’s more than just a sprain. I wanted to get thoughts about the severity of it.

You could try soaking in warm Epsom salt water that can help with inflammation and swelling. Do you think he got injured some how? Then it could be a sprain. Water therapy , rest and ES soaks can help. A vet can give something for pain an inflammation.
