Duck leg swollen

I know I have been repetitive with this post, but just wonder if having a different title there will be different responses. My duck has a heavy foot as i would call it he is happy and loves to swim and interactive. He does lay down quiet off but also walks i would say the same amount. I think the leg might be getting to him a little bit but he definitely stomps it down when he walks. I give them crack corn with oregano and niacin, and green leaves as a treat. They play and swim pretty much every day. I will add two videos of him walking. I have started to rub his hip hoping that will help him. But this leg is has been slightly bigger ever since i got him back in November. There is no cuts or sores on his feet. I think now it might be a twisted ankle that healed wrong but any ideas are helpful.

Also his tail isn't as upright as his brothers and I know that can be a sign of illness but not sure if it just based on his mood or not

Have you ever given your ducks niacin? What I would rec is liquid BComplex TSC carry one called Durvet it will say injectable but we use it orally over a treat daily. I could be an injury that didn’t heal right but if it’s a niacin def the liquid BComplex should help just give it time. I wouldn’t think how he holds his tail would be significant. Unless he is sick, is he eating good?

hes a great eater and i give them liquid b once a week and niacin like three times he seems to like his hip massaged and he came from a farm so he could have been injured and no one noticed and it healed wrong. His feathers are not all the way down they go from being up like my other ducks to straight which i am not sure is common or not but he has been laying down more often.

what do you mean by "and niacin three times"?
For ducks with leg troubles, B complex should be given 1ml over a tasty treat daily, until improvement

If he has a hip injury then that may be why he is laying down more. It may be he injured it at the farm and it healed but didn't heal normally. Avet could do an X-ray to determine what is going on and possibly give something like Meloxicam for inflammation and pain.
