Duck limping with red on foot

I disagree that this is Bumblefoot, at least I've never seen a case like this, nor have I seen Bumblefoot on the webbing part of the feet. What are the birds being housed in, and how often is it being cleaned, birds can suffer from ammonia burns on their webbing if they are sitting on fresh feces for an extended period of time. I agree, with disinfecting it, but the underlying cause should also be addressed or it will most likely reoccur. Cephalexin can also be bought as a Fish product online or at places like Petsmart, TSC, or Petco, Its often used for treating skin infections.

I clean the cage every single day at around 1 pm. They are out for most of the day so they aren’t really around feces. I have noticed though that sometimes the cage gets super messy.

The cage is 110 gallons. I’ll try to order some Cephalixin as well. The bedding is hay, so it doesn’t absorb that well but I have noticed that by placing some paper towels under it the cage is much cleaner.

Also, I have noticed this issue is starting to form on the rest of the ducks so I also think it’s highly unlikely that it’s bumble foot considering every one of them has some form of it. Monica is much worse and the rest of them are walking fine. I have been soaking them in epson salt, hibiclens, and have been applying bacitracin.

It seems like they are starting to get better, however Monica’s foot is still not looking great.
