Duck lost her back nail!!

Poor girl. I have had a few break their back claw as well
One wouldn’t stop bleeding and I had to take him to the vet to get it cauterized
Really wish they didn’t even have them to be honest

it bled quite a lot, honestly. Obviously hurt, she enjoyed having a cuddle while I cleaned it up. But I think she's okay for the most part, she has broken her other back toe nail before a couple times, this was just the first time I'd seen it fresh and dripping blood.
It's quite annoying, they dont seem to serve much purpose, just easy to break
