BTW for treats and just playing around, you can have so much fun with soft unfrozen peas with them. XD

(I would not use frozen peas with small ducklings.)

As long as you're only feeding them duck feed they do not need grit.

I've also noticed if their in a yard they naturally already get a lot of dirt and mud in their mouths. You can even see it caked in the edges of their mouths. When I wash out the water buckets they use, there's always silt in the bottom from them water bubbling it. (When its not a bucket that they can sit in, or get dirt in except through their mouths.)
