Duck not acting norm

@Kewtq, how is your duck doing? Has she been having any more issues?
Thank you for checking, that is very thoughtful. She is doing wonderful and has been laying eggs every other day. I made sure I got her oyster shells to avoid any problems. She makes such cute little nest, I'm proud if her. She is the only duck as of now but has her chickens to hang out with. If she is interested in nesting I may see if I can get some fertile eggs in spring
Thank you again

This is making me feel a ton better rn, but not 100 quite yet... my blue swedish, 6 months old just laid her 3rd egg today over the last 3 days... But quick question did your call duck breathe kinda quick and with mouth open at night? Mine seems fine during the day out in the yard but she comes into my house and bed at night (has her whole life). And when she first comes in for the first few hours she seems totally normal, has her dinner, does some preening, maybe gets down to visit me in the kitchen hoping I'll give her some snacks, then goes back to bed with me. But then she'll lay down or occasional post up standing and start almost panting, and sometimes fluffed up, it made me think of labor almost (obviously they don't actually labor) but I was thinking it might be egg laying related....? Cause my other concern is that she MIGHT have ate a tack 3 days ago too but not for sure. I came in right when she had finished eating for dinner and she was up on her bed AKA pillow above my pillow and there's a window too, behind our pillows, it's "curtain" is just a pillowcase tacked to the wall well that night, one corner had falling down and the tack was no where to be found and she was kinda nearby, as in next to her pillow that the corner of the "curtain" was now laying on and I hear they like shiny things but I still can't find the thumbtack, she does have that weird behavior at night but again she's laying eggs for the first time, her eggs are shelled and firm, the first one I happen to see/watch her lay and she didn't even struggle or anything it was almost identical to her pooping behavior aside from a little bit of rocking forward and backwards for a few moments and bloop, there it dropped right on to her pillow lol but I also can't say she actually ate the tack either...so this strange behavior just at night could it possibly be tack ingestion symptoms or could it be egg/reproductive related? Thoughts?
