My sweet girl Arya has been losing weight I noticed yesterday. She was just sitting in the back corner of the coop. I went and checked her out and she was thinner than normal and very dirty

As I went to pick her up. She of course tried to scurry away and she was very wobbly and was using her wings to help herself walk

I checked her feet and no signs of bumble. Her feet look perfect. Checked her knee as she has slipped a tendon before and both legs seem ok… pinching her knees, felt a little pop in the right one, so may just have been a slipped tendon I thought

She seemed ok last night when I checked on her

This morning she was huddled up again in the back corner I went to check on her and it’s the same thing and now she is scrunched up when she stands. Tucking her butt downward

thought maybe she is egg bound but I don’t feel an egg in there, though granted I only googled how to do a check. I don’t have Epsom salts but gave her a warm bath and she loved it. I will pick up some Epsom salts today for an Epsom bath.

But I’m pretty sure she laid an egg last night. Her eggs are a particular size and I can usually tell when she laid one.

She is eating when I put her in front of the food dish. Drinking normally. Pooping normally. I checked her legs again and they seem fine.

I have her in a small dog crate with her own food and water. Figure keeping her immobile will help if it’s a leg issue.

But was curious if anyone had any other insights

Not a great pic, and pardon the mud. We got some rain and fresh straw is getting put down later today when it’s delivered. This is how she stands when I put her on The ground. I washed her off and got her nice and clean. But she was just laying in mud and didn’t move to a dry spot like the rest of the ducks did during the rain

It’s possible and that was part of why I put her in the dog crate. To separate her. It sending missing a lot of feathers on her neck so not sure?

Will keep her isolated for a couple days and see how she recovers
