Duck on pond with broken wing

Ii have a duck who appeared to have a broken wing. I guessed that by the way she was walking and was dragging the wing on the ground. Before I could get to her she made it to the pond.....and now won't come off. Her siblings ango ind out and keep her company occasionally. She does come toward the edge but can't get out. She gets distressed if we try to assist. Any thoughts from anyone?

Can she not get out because the shore is high and they have to jump? If so, you could try making a ramp for her.

Welcome to BYC I'm so sorry to hear about your wounded duck I'm sure if you follow the links an the advice that is offered here, you will find the help that you is needed! They have been so helpful to me and good luck! I will say a prayer for you & your duck. Does anyone have a canoe or a Jon boat that you can borrow this is just a suggestion..
