Duck pecking order

Hi everyone, our female duck was getting over mated and getting many eye injuries. Friday night we added two females all a year old, so now we have a ration of 3:1.

Our drake is now mating with one of the new females which is great. The other new female keeps swaying her head in a low snake like way and launching, nipping and running towards our only drake. The drake completely avoids this female and runs away from her. Im interested in what’s happening here?

I'm guess that the one female is just acting dominate and trying to figure out her place. With the addition of 2 new ducks, a new pecking order has to be established. One of my females is definitely in charge, but does mate with the drake.
Give it a little time, as long as no one is actually getting hurt. The ducks will figure it out.
