duck pen ideas

ok so in a few months i’ll have my dad build me some new duck pens, and i’m looking for ideas

so the first pen will have to be big enough for my 2 hens, their drake, and extra room since i will be adding a couple more hens. also i would like to make it so the drake could be seperate at night? to give the girls a break so they can sleep?

then my next pen, will be a drake pen. i’m starting with just two drakes and then maybe adding more

yes, probably just at night and when nobody is home to watch them

We built an elevated duckhouse with an attached, predator proof run, and it's worked out pretty well. The area under the duckhouse (~4'x8') is separated from the rest of the run by wire and has a door, so we can keep our drake separate in there. We also built an "annex" off one side to allow for more room if we have to separate them in the run for the whole day.
