Duck Pen Info Needed

So with four, maybe a 5x5 coop would be ok. And since they don't roost it wouldn't have to be that talk, right? They nest on the floor correct? What about the pen area? I would only keep them in it at night or when they had to be in it.

For height on our first duck house, I calculated a foot and a half for deep litter especially in winter, and two and a half feet for duck height. My tallest runner turned out to be two feet tall - but there are taller runners, and I built the house before they were full grown, and plywood sheets are four feet tall, so it worked out.

They do nest on the floor. If I recall correctly, Holderread said if they can get out to range around regularly, 10 square feet per duck for the pen, otherwise 25 square feet. We have about 15 square feet per duck. And they get out for supervised walk around multiple times during the day, most days.
