Duck pen?

So I wanted to get an idea what you guys have in your duck pens? Besides the bucket of feed?

Do you have a separate bucket for stuff like seeds and grit? And if you don't have this could this be why some ducks aren't making eggs?

Besides fresh water, what else would you have?

Thanks.

A duck pen for what breed of ducks, specifically?
What do you mean, some ducks aren't making eggs?

like to keep them entertained? most people don’t realize ducks LOVE toys! mine have their pools of course but also have hanging parrot toys, snuffle mats, stuffed animals, those balls made for cats, a snuggle puppy, and more

i also take mine places with me as much as possible so if you want to do that i recommend bins for “duck car seats” and a pet stroller. not necessary of course but make our lives 100% easier when they come places with us

when you do take them places, how do you make sure you don't lose them and can get them caught again before leaving? I guess mine aren't trained as well as yours?

Well mine quit laying way back in July. We did have some abnormal heat then. But they shouldn't have stopped that early.

I'm wondering if the other food besides treats should be different and not just a laying mash? And what else I should have? But I was also wondering what others' pens look like.

they are extremely bonded to me because of imprinting so stay close to me! just for safety i always make sure when we’re in public they are wearing a harness (no leash) that has a tag attached. the tags we use have my number on them as well as a code to a website with all of their information on it

Not sure what you mean by duck pen. Do you have a coop and a run, or a coop and they free range. I have separate bowls for water, food, and oyster shell but only in the run. They have not been eating the oyster shell for months since they stopped laying. I don't know when they will lay again so I make sure it is available if wanted.
