Duck pond questions

i was wondering how some people set up they duck ponds filters fountains ext. ext.

Gorgeous pool. I just used a kiddy pool myself and installed a host on the bottom to drain and clean once a week. More work then a filter system but a lot more economical too.

I don't know any filter that can cope with the poop and mess from more than a couple of small ducks. I am very lucky and am able to keep my duck free range on a natural small lake that is connected to ditches that constantly add and take out the water. Its just outside my house. Every night the ducks come into my yard for their food and I lock them in the coop. All the natural life in the lake takes care of the poop.

The other way is to have a small pond and empty and re fill it every few days.
