Hi I have 2 ducks that are almost 4 months old. 1 is a white female named Daisy and a male mallard duck named Donald. My question is why is the male not letting Daisy swim in the pool with him? If she tries to he bites her neck and pecks at her. The few times he lets her, he gets on top of her like hes trying to mate. I even put another pool for her to get in and he still wont let her get in any of the two. Any help is greatly appreciated

I have seen our two Mallard hens who spend about 70% of their time in the pool, pick at the other much larger Rouen/pekin ducks to keep them out of the pool while they are using it. Looked to me like more of a territorial thing there were doing.

If you have a deep enough pool, you will need to be careful if your Drake is trying to mate with her in the pool because he could possibly drown her.
